America's only nonprofit for injured officers

They ran toward it.We run toward them.

When an officer is injured in the line of duty, the calls stop, the paperwork starts, and most of the country moves on. We don't. Peer support, care, advocacy and hard cash - for the officers who paid for our safety with their bodies.

The S.E.A.L. strategy

Four things an injured officer
cannot get anywhere else

01

Support

Peer Support Advocates who have been shot, stabbed, beaten or broken themselves - and came out the other side.

02

Education

Training built for officers, families and the departments around them, so the next injury is met with something better than silence.

03

Assistance

Referrals, career transition coaching, financial help and wellness retreats, aimed at the moment the paperwork runs out.

04

Legislative Advocacy

Changing the law so an injured officer is not the last person the system thinks about.

Three months later, he danced at his daughter's wedding

What happened

Sixteen surgeries. Told he would not walk again.

What we did

Peer support, medical navigation, and a team that would not let go.

Ways to give

How this organization survives

No government funding. No department budget. Individual people, month after month, are the entire reason the phone gets answered.

Give monthly

Steady, predictable support - the kind that lets us answer the phone in February, not just after a headline.

Be there next month, too

A Blue Guardian gives monthly. It is the difference between answering the phone when the story is hot and answering it in February.
