What we fund is
the next good day

Not a plaque. Not a moment of silence. An ordinary Tuesday, given back to an officer who thought he had lost all of them.

Morning

This year, 500 injured officers woke up to a day that moved forward instead of standing still - across twelve states, through three national deployments.

The Wounded Blue is the only national nonprofit in the country dedicated exclusively to law enforcement officers injured or disabled in the line of duty. Not the fallen - the ones still here, and mostly forgotten.

Every one of our peer support advocates has been shot, stabbed, beaten, run over or broken by the job. That is the entire qualification.

How we measure a good day

Midday - help arrives

Five hundred doors opened this year

One door for every injured officer we helped in 2026, grouped by the state they called from. The blue doors have a story behind them.

Still closed An officer we helped Back at work or back home A story you can read

0 of 500 doors open. Twelve states. Three national deployments. No door is a dollar amount and no door is a name we did not have permission to use.

Afternoon - life in motion

Three months later, he danced at his daughter's wedding

What happened

Sixteen surgeries. Told he would not walk again.

How help arrived

Peer support, medical navigation, and a team that would not let go.

What became possible

He walked his daughter down the aisle, then danced with her.

Ways to give

Make more good days possible

There is no government money in this organization. Individual people, month after month, are the reason the phone gets answered at all.
